Weather in Cabo San Lucas

The weather in Cabo San Lucas has been hailed as one of the best in the world. Plenty would even deign to call it perfect, though not all, as its summers may prove to be a tad too warm. It all depends on the weather people are used to-- for example, residents of desert area US states (such as Nevada and California) would consider Cabo San Lucas to have relatively cool weather, while those who live in the northwest and mountain states would find the weather as fiendishly hot. People from the US east coast or south coast will be glad to deal with the dry heat.

Fluctuations in the usually reliably dry weather are a few storms during the summer months, and little more. Other natural occurences such as tropical storms and hurricanes rarely ever hit Cabo. When storms pass by, people may expect some rain, though the rain doesn't stay for very long. Its coldest months are from December to January, while its storm season is from July to October. The average year-round temperature (including storm months) is 78o F, or 25.5o C. The average water temperature (based from the Sea of Cortez) is 72o F or 22o C, though it may reach the mid 80s (F) or 28o – 29o C during the summer season.

The overall climate depicts 300 to 350 days of sunshine, owing to the low average annual rainfall of 10 inches, which occur during the months of September and October. The average high temperature range from the mid-70s (farenheit) to mid 90's during the summer months. During spring and fall, the highest temperatures only reach to the mid-80s. The high season for Cabo San Lucas is seven months, specifically from October to April.

The best place to compare the weather in Cabo San Lucas is Palm Springs USA. In a nutshell, the days in Cabo are hot and sunny with low humidity, with the occasional exceptions of a few storms.
